  I was craving fried chicken and thought I'd try Popeyes on Coffee Rd since I'm not a fan of KFC. So I go inside to order since I dont want to take everyone's time while I look at the menu in drive-thru. I was greeted by the most helpful counter person, I think his name is James if I caught the name correctly from other staff calling out to him. He took the time to go over the different sides, the different sauces and listed all of the specials. He was so courteous and patient!
  
  I ended up ordering a 3 piece tender meal with a side and biscuit for $3.99. The price was a special price from a coupon I used from downloading the app. James then told me about a 9 piece chicken meal that was on special. Chicken, 2 large sides an 4 biscuits for $21.99. I decided to order that too for my lunches for the work week. Who doesnt like cold chicken for lunch?  I asked for all thighs and he made it happen.
  
  While I sat at a table waiting for my order, I saw an employee sitting at a table eating his lunch.  A young girl went up to the counter and waited, but all the staff were busy with drive thru and the lunch rush. The employee who was eating his lunch hopped up and went behind the counter to help her, despite being on his lunch break; he then returned to his lunch. I have never seen that happen before. What a great work ethic!
  
  I get home and went through my order and everything was correct; from getting all thighs to my sauces to my sides and biscuits. Perfect. The only thing different was my 3 order of tenders turned into 5! And OMG, the tenders are GIANT!  They were so tender and crispy, they tasted amazing. The red beans and rice were also very good. I love the smoky flavor of the beans and the fact that red beans and rice is not an average side like mashed potatoes or Cole slaw even though they have those as well and more.
  
  I am not sure why the stars for this place is so low, but if I could have given more stars, I would. Great food, and most of all, great service.

  I went in this evening and was doing a Postmates delivery. The person had ordered the new "sweet heat" sauce with their order and I mentioned to the cashier/manager (short/colored hair) the fact that I hadn't seen that sauce before and I wanted to try it sometime. To my surprise I was given a sample that included 2 chicken strips and some of the sweet heat sauce to try. I just want to say I really appreciate the excellent customer service I received tonight, thank you!

  Just went they forgot my drink and my mashpotatoes. I am very upset :( I paid 10.52 for 2 pieces of chicken and 1 buiscuit. The girl working the drive thru with short colored hair was more worried about her conversation with her coworker rather than to be making sure my order was complete

  The staff at this location has redeemed themselves! My husband and I am back to enjoying the service and food. The chicken is cooked perfectly and my all time favorite is the red beans and rice.

  Haven't ate here in over 10 years. With the hype of the new spicy chicken sandwich I thought I would give it a try. I was really impressed, especially since I hate fried chicken! It's was moist, thick and delicious and had the perfect kick! Well done Popeyes, I shall try this again very soon!
